The Rotary Club of Toronto Sunrise conducts fundraising activities in conjunction with other clubs, and independently several times in the year.

At the end of June, club members participate as volunteers supporting the Ribfest, an event organized by the Rotary Club of Etobicoke.  This event provides members with an opportunity to network members of other local Rotary clubs, community volunteers, and to welcome members of the public to a fun day of food and entertainment.

The club participates in the annual Rotary Foundation Walk (2016 Registration), an event which is organized by different Rotary clubs each year.  The event raises funds for the Rotary Foundation which supports local and international community project initiatives.  The walk is a family oriented event.  It is a great opportunity for members to network with Rotarians from other clubs, and with non-Rotarian community participants.

The Rotary Poker Walk for HIV/AIDS (Toronto) is an annual event held in the Beaches in Toronto.  The event raises funds for HIV/AIDS organizations.  Participants walk approximately 5 km, and gather playing cards at each of 7 information tents, towards creating a winning Poker hand.

The club hosts a Scotch Tasting event in the early spring each year.  The event raises money to support Fort York Food Bank, Transforming Faces, and other charities including the Rotary Foundation.
