Toronto Sunrise and friends cooked 80 hot meals at the Fort York Food Bank for the homeless and less fortunate. We had a great time and really enjoyed working together!  Photos below.
Sunday, November 14 - 80 hot take away meals served up today at the Fort York Food Bank thanks to an amazing crew of volunteers!

Thank you to everyone from the Rotary Club of Toronto Sunrise, Toastmasters, Africans in Partnership Against AIDS, and friends. Our volunteers peeled, chopped, made amazing frittatas, made and baked a *LOT* of chicken meatballs, red rice, potatoes, and cabbage; created a great tomato, onion and mushroom sauce and an amazing salad, assembled it all, served and cleaned up.

Thanks also to everyone who donates food so that this essential community meal can happen every Sunday!

Rotary Toronto Sunrise’ next day at the Fort York Food Bank is Sunday, December 12, 9am – 1pm. We would love for you to join us – just contact Mary Lou at rotarianmarylou@gmail.com, text or call 647.992.4495; or Bruce at bruce@frontpaws.ca, text or call 416.452.2449.
