Our Visit to St. James Cathedral Drop-In Centre & Health Clinic

On Tuesday, March 19th, we were delighted to have our meeting at the new Cathedral Centre and learn more about the drop-in centre & health clinic we help to fund. Gloria Wiebe, the Co-ordinator of the Health Clinic, spoke to us about the health programs offered by St. James Cathedral and we toured the facilities.

Well over 100 people attend the drop-in centre each week for a healthy meal, foot care services, a haircut, and/or a visit with the nurse. Click here to read more about the drop-in program.

Our visit allowed us to see how our support has made a difference in the lives of many people who are in need of food, friends, fellowship, and healthcare. We also learned how else we can help. One example is funding for a new chair for the foot care clinic to replace the one on the left so that it matches the one on the right in the photos below!
